Figure Review: 1:7 Mizuho Kazami, Max Factory
Please Teacher! (Onegai Teacher), is a Japanese anime series, directed by Yasunori Ide and written by Yosuke Kuroda, and produced by Bandai Visual, which was adapted into a manga and light novel, centering around a group of friends and the odd things that happen to them after they get a new teacher. It turns out to be one of my favourite anime in recent years. I also watched Please Twins after this one.
Some people question that integrity of the anime since it describes a young teacher (from outside of earch) falling in love with a student. But I believe anime should be about fantasy, and this story happens to be an excellent one.
This is the same figure that featured on "ALL THAT FIGURE 2002" and "Please Teacher! & Twins Figure Special". It is made of polystone and PVC. Many variations have been produced since then. The most recent one is a PVC only version.
The figure is beautiful with a nice transparent feel of the skin. Face, hair, finger nails, toes, and pochy details are all there. However, there is no nipple under the shirt. (Did I just disppointed you?) It is fixed on a real wood base.
The figure is released in 9/2003. A new one at that time is 21,000 yen. You should feel really lucky if you can find this version now.
You cannot just have the teacher. You also need some pretty students around. Here is Miina Miyafuji (more pics later).
